The Starlab Minicentrifuge is ideal for the quick spin down of condensate, vortexed or thawed samples. It is intended for applications requiring relatively low centrifugal forces (2,500 x g / 6,500 rpm) such as microfiltration, cell separation and quick spin downs from microcentrifuge tube walls and caps.
The Minicentrifuge is supplied with two rotors to cover a wide range of application needs:
Tube rotor holds up to eight 1.5/2.0 ml Microcentrifuge Tubes (and 0.2/0.5 ml tubes with the adapters supplied) ...
... and can also be used with 0.5 ml, 1.5 ml and 2.0 ml Screw Cap Tubes.
The PCR Strip Rotor holds up to four, 0.2 ml PCR Strips ...
... or 32 single 0.2 ml PCR Tubes.
