Starlab presents new RepeatOne^® S dispenser.

We are expanding our portfolio with the latest generation of dispensers, RepeatOne^® S. This device assists laboratory professionals in the repetitive dispensing of complex liquids in everyday laboratory work and embodies Starlab's core philosophy: not only optimizsing proven concepts but consistently rethinking them. 

The introduction of the RepeatOne^® S follows the consistent redesign and upgrade strategy that Starlab has successfully pursued in recent years with its vortex mixer and minicentrifuge. The new RepeatOne^® S incorporates researcher-friendly features and an ergonomic design, and has undergone comprehensive practical testing. The new device not only visually fits into Starlab's pipette portfolio, but also sets new functional standards. “With the RepeatOne^® S, we have fundamentally upgraded our popular dispenser system so it aligns with the requirements of modern laboratories,” explains Klaus Ambos, President & CEO of Starlab International GmbH. 

Proven concept with decisive improvements

The new RepeatOne^® S retains the core strengths of its predecessor whilst offering numerous new features. The precise dispensing system relies on considered elements: the ergonomic finger rest supports fatigue-free work, while the slim, lightweight design, precise stroke indicator, easily accessible dispensing lever, and secure locking/filling lever guarantee maximum control. Additionally, laboratory work is simplified by the easy-to-use ejection button, precise stroke adjustment ring for fine volume adjustment, and the clear volume table on the back of the device. 
 
With up to 49 precise dispensing operations from a single sample, the RepeatOne^® S accelerates workflows over a significantly expanded volume range from 2.0 µl to 5.0 ml. This saves time and reduces the risk of pipetting errors due to fatigue. Thus, the new edition is suitable for demanding protocols, handling viscous solutions in DNA extraction, or dispensing dense cell suspensions. The included shelfholder ensures order in the laboratory. The device is completely PFAS-free, meeting current requirements for environmentally friendly laboratory equipment.

Like its predecessor, the RepeatOne^® S is fully compatible with the proven TipOne^® Repeat Dispenser Tips which are available in eight different sizes from 0.1 ml to 50 ml, in both sterile and non-sterile versions. “The combination of the advanced features of the RepeatOne^® S and our high-quality TipOne^® Repeat Dispenser Tips offers a complete system for precise dispensing,” emphasises Ambos. “Laboratory users have appreciated the low dispensing forces and high precision of our dispenser tips for years – these advantages now come into even greater effect in conjunction with the new RepeatOne^® S.”
